Certificate in Vocational Skills - Waiariki Institute of Technology
Waiariki Institute of Technology and Te Arawa Tangata have established a new partnership to engage our people and offer them an awesome educational opportunity. The course is open to any person aged 16 years and over. There are no fees and the course is a maximum of 16 weeks.
The benefits of this course for our people is they will gain NCEA 1 and 2, they will be able to explore their career options and career pathways. The course is a mix of practical and theory work taught on a local Te Arawa marae and at Waiariki Institute of Technology.
The starting date for this course is Monday 22 September 2014.
Te Arawa Tangata is holding a hui this Thursday 4 September at 10am at Te Pumautanga o Te Arawa Offices, 8 Marguerita Street, Rotorua, to discuss the Certificate in Vocational Skills course. It will provide an opportunity for whanau to ask questions about the course and to be provided support with completion of applications.
If you have these documents, please bring them along:
1. Verified Birth Certificate or Passport
2. Verfied Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
