Announcement: Waimangu Board Appointment

Tūhourangi Tribal Authority is pleased to announce the appointment of Pipiana Whiston as a Director of Waimangu Volcanic Valley Ltd.

Pipiana brings extensive senior leadership and governance experience across the tourism, hospitality, and agribusiness sectors, together with strong connections within the Rotorua business community.

Pipiana is the eldest granddaughter of Te Kuru o Te Marama & Louie Waaka.

Her appointment further strengthens the Board’s capability as Waimangu continues to grow as a significant tourism and cultural asset. We look forward to Pipiana’s contribution to the ongoing stewardship and success of Waimangu.
